Support to developing countries
One of the objectives of ILEC is to support developing countries for lake environment convention. ILEC is engaged in studies for the lake environment conservation in developing countries as well as training courses for officials and engineers from developing countries either in collaboration with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) or independently. ILEC is also engaged in technology transfer in collaboration with the International Environmental Technology Centre of UNEP.
