LOCATION
ILEC is permanently located in a building shared with the United Nations Environment Programme-Division of Technology, Industry, and Economics-International Environmental Technology Centre (UNEP-DTIE-IETC). This building is located on the shores of Lake Biwa in Shiga Prefecture, Japan, and directly opposite Lake Biwa Museum. It has office accommodation for the secretariat, a library, meeting and conference rooms and tutorial areas. Attached to the main building is accommodation for visitors.
