TWAP-Full Size Project (FSP) : Lake Group Activities Officially Kick Off

The Transbounadary Waters Assessment Programme (TWAP) – Lake Group Technical Meeting was successfully convened at ILEC with approximately 15 participants from Japan, USA, China and Malaysia (May 13-16, 2013).
TWAP-FSP is a Global Environment Facility (GEF) – funded project to make a global assessment of five waterbodies (rivers, lakes, groundwaters, large marine ecosystems and open oceans. The project is implemented by UNEP and ILEC is responsible for lake components (For more details, please refer to: http://twap.iwlearn.org/ and http://www.ilec.or.jp/en/twap).
