ILEC’s Fostering Next-Generation Leaders Project has been adopted for the Expo’70 Fund projects!

Our Fostering Next-Generation Leaders for Conservation of Lake Environment Project has been adopted as one of the Expo’70 Fund projects, the Kansai Osaka 21st Century Association, and attended the award ceremony.

The aim of this fostering project is to actively engage with various stakeholders in the discussions and foster next-generation leaders who can contribute to sustainable lake management, both at the international and local levels. As part of this initiative, Japanese university students will take the lead in collaboration with youth from all over the world to organize a youth session at the 19th World Lake Conference (Balatonfüred, Hungary).

We sincerely appreciate the support and grant we have received this time. Through our project, we will strive to promote international cooperation on lake issues and make meaningful contributions to building a sustainable future for the world.
