ILEC cooperates with local governments and educational institutions to provide environmental education and training, as well as partnering with companies as they complete their environmental CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities. We also provide opportunities for children, the future global leaders, to be active globally.
JICA Regional Understanding Program
We assist with various training activities within the Regional Understanding Program implemented by JICA Kansai (Japan International Cooperation Agency). This program introduces the Kansai area’s history, development, and experience to long-term trainees (international students) studying at graduate schools to convey the region’s complex modern and contemporary growth.
Metagawa River Nature School Program
Metagawa River is one of rivers flowing into Lake Biwa. This program provided an opportunity for local people to raise their awareness for environmental protection through nature experience and cleanup.
